The Year 7 and 8 Debating Club students worked incredibly hard throughout the year, and their final debate marked the culmination of their efforts. The topic they tackled was: "Should it be compulsory for online retailers to have physical stores?" After months of preparation, research, and practice, the students were ready to showcase the skills they had developed in public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation. This debate was not only an opportunity to present their views on a contemporary issue but also a reflection of the growth they had made over the course of the year.

We are incredibly proud of how far they came, and the final debate served as a celebration of their dedication and achievements. Each student made tremendous progress in their confidence and debating abilities, and they worked tirelessly to craft well-reasoned arguments. It was inspiring to see them put everything they had learned into action, bringing the year’s program to a successful and impressive conclusion.
