Our Year12 VCAL students are turning their hand with help from experienced Artists to transform our boring, bland Uniform shop into a mural of colour.
Street Art coming to Buckley Park College
Melbourne is known as one of the world's great street art capitals for its unique expressions of art on approved outdoor locations. Street art includes stencils, paste-ups and murals and does not include graffiti or tagging which is illegal.
Our Year12 VCAL students are turning their hand with help from experienced Artists to transform our boring, bland Uniform shop into a mural of colour.
In preparation for their mural the students went on an excursion, touring the laneways and streets of Melbourne for inspiration and insights from local Artists. Under the guiding hand and eye of Art Teacher, Ms Vicki Sachinidis, the VCAL students have a massive project ahead of them that will leave their mark on BPC for the future to enjoy.
When the painting starts we will keep you posted with updated photos of this very unique project.
